ABOUT OTW
OUR STORY
OTW was founded by Fiona Jing, a Cambridge University graduate with a passion for cross-cultural experiences and discovery. Inspired by her own gap year experiences and global exploration across 58 countries, she wanted to share the value of purposeful travel with others.
OTW stands for ‘Off The Wall’ – partly taken from the name of an old travel blog Fiona ran and partly because we’re all about unconventional, wildly unique travel experiences.
Life-changing Experiences
OTW provides participants with opportunities to develop key skills like leadership and resilience through exciting and awe-inspiring travel. Through our programmes, our aim is for participants to be equipped with the confidence and skills to lead future groups if desired. Not only does this allow young professionals and university students to gain real-life leadership experience, it also offers a unique and innovative opportunity for subsidised travel.
Beyond personal growth, OTW’s mission is also to promote cultural understanding and bridge gaps between people of different backgrounds. Through meaningful interactions with locals and acting as cultural ambassadors, OTW aims to foster mutual respect and appreciation among travellers.
Our Values
Our trips are founded on the core values of:
- Personal development
- Responsible, purposeful travel
- Two-way cultural understanding
